Dream Holidays with Travel Escorted Tours is owned and operated by Irene and Bruce Remnant
Dream Holidays are created by Irene and Bruce Remnant and are an extension of their passion for travel, and desire to see other lands, cultures and people.
Bruce has over thirty years experience in the travel Industry, starting his career in Wellington in the early 1970s.
For the last 20 years Irene and Bruce have owned Cherrywood Travel in Tauranga
A few years ago new shareholders Annie and Cherie came on board and operate the retail shop while Bruce and Irene concentrate on their Dream Holiday Tours.
Since 1998 they have successfully taken Dream Holiday tours to Africa, Alaska, USA, Panama Canal, Egypt, Italy, Greek Islands, Samoa, South America, Morocco ,enjoyed cruising with tour groups through the Mediterranean, around Australia and the rivers of Europe.
Exploring the canals in Venice, viewing the glaciers in Alaska. bartering in the Markets of Marrakesh, climbing Machu Pichu in Peru, chasing the big game on safari in Africa, cruising the Greek Islands, and riding camels in the Sahara, are a few of their many highlights.
In addition to their own travel adventures and experiences they have enjoyed listening to the wonderful stories of their many travel clients. Among their clients were a few who because of health problems or a lost partner quietly confided that they had left their retirement or dream travel plans too late.
Bruce and Irene decided some years ago that the clock was ticking and unless you get on with life there is a danger that your dreams could be left until it was too late.
Determined to get on with their dreams they started the Dream Holiday Tour program .
Starting with the question where would be an exciting dream holiday destination, they then ask" how can we make it happen?
Having personally visited many of the destinations they draw on their vast knowledge and after a great deal of research they create their Dream Holiday.
They love travelling with people and sharing the experiences, friendships and the fun that group travel generates.
The success of their tours is attributed to personalized service to each and every client.
